About

ASHLEIGH GREYLING

Ashleigh is an experienced and compassionate paediatric occupational therapist dedicated to helping children build confidence, independence, and the skills they need to thrive. With over 15 years of experience across South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia, she has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, schools, hospitals, and community disability services.

Ashleigh holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Cape Town and a Master of Occupational Therapy (Neurosciences) from the University of Witwatersrand. She has extensive expertise in supporting children with neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions, including cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, sensory processing challenges, ADD/ADHD and ASD.

Ashleigh incorporates a trauma-informed approach into her practice and has completed Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP) training, which allows her to offer additional support to children experiencing heightened stress or sensory processing difficulties. This training enables her to work with children in ways that are safe, calming, and supportive, empowering them to build resilience and confidence.

Her approach is holistic, collaborative, and family-centered. Ashleigh tailors her therapy to each child’s individual needs, strengths, and goals, believing that therapy should be fun, practical, and meaningful. She works closely with families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child.

Ashleigh is committed to lifelong learning and integrates evidence-based practices into her work to provide the most effective interventions. She is passionate about helping children unlock their full potential in everyday life and believes that every child deserves the support they need to succeed.

When she’s not supporting children and their families, Ashleigh enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children, practicing yoga, and getting lost in a good book.
